New
initiatives –
new
noble doings
On the
13th
of December 2008,
the
month of the Rotarian
family and time for charity initiatives,
Rotary
club Panagyurishte started
a new project in favor of society,
in which we live in.
The
idea is preparation and realization of a project
with the support of
Rotary
Foundation.
On the
Christmas charity ball the president of the
Rotarians
from Panagyurishte
–
Lachezar
Tsotsorkov
Dipl.
Eng.,
PhD.
announced the initiative for the construction of
„Observed
lodging”
for persons at
the age of 18
years
old,
who will leave
the specialized institutions.
RC took
up the idea for this project after investigation
in the municipality of Panagyurishte.
In this
way the club decided to work on a project for
supporting the necessities of social services in
the municipality.
„Observed
lodging”
is a form of
social service for young people in need for
support the social integration and professional
realization during the transition towards
independent life,
supported by professionals.
The
professional realization will be accomplished
with the help of business friends.
In order
to start the project,
RC
Panagyurishte
held discussions with
Rotarian
clubs abroad.
With the help of friends from the club and
guests 5500
BGN
levs
were collected at the Christmas charity ball,
and
also some companies took the noble
obligation to grant the windows and the
furniture for the social lodging. Let’s
service in favor of the society and turn the
dreams into reality.
