Rotary purpose

The purpose of Rotary is to encourage and support the ideal for service to society, as a basis for worthy undertakings and in particularly to stimulate and maintain:

First: Development of acquaintances and knowledge as possibilities for service

Second: High ethical norms in the business activity and the professions; acknowledgement of the dignity of all useful tasks as a possibility to serve to society.

Third: Each Rotarian shall apply the ideal for service in his personal, professional and social life. 

Fourth: The advance of the international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world community of persons from the business media and professions, united by the ideal to serve to society.
